Building together with God, for generations to come.

Key questions about our capital campaign
What is the goal of the capital campaign?
We are raising $2.5 million over the next two years to update key areas of our worship center. This is a large goal, but we believe it is absolutely achievable if we all work together to accomplish the task at hand.
What will the funds be used for?
The campaign will help us renovate and improve our worship center stage, carpet, seating, AVL (audio, video, and lighting), bathrooms, and other minor structural repairs needed. Our design will reflect that we are a thriving, multi-generational church – one that attracts people and provides an engaging, inspiring space for worship. These updates will give us all a more beautiful and functional place to gather and glorify God together.
Why are these updates necessary?
Our worship center has been a place of life-changing encounters with God for many years. We have not done any significant improvements in the past 25 years, and we wish to honor God in our house of worship. These improvements will ensure that we continue to create a welcoming, safe, engaging, and inspiring environment for worship, teaching, and community for generations to come.
How can I participate?
First and foremost, I ask that you pray – pray for wisdom, for provision, and for unity as we step out in faith to accomplish the task set before us.
Second, I encourage you to begin seeking God about how He may be leading you to give sacrificially toward this vision. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference. Our basic principle moving forward through this campaign is “not equal gifts, but equal sacrifice.” Our prayer is that you will consider God’s will regarding a sacrificial gift, above and beyond your regular tithe.
April 13, 2025 will be pledge Sunday for this capital campaign. We will have a special time of giving where you can participate in two ways: by bringing a one-time gift as a first step toward our goal and by making a pledge for ongoing giving over the next two years. Please prayerfully consider your offering to be presented during this Sunday. We will collect all the gifts in a special offering chest during both services.
God, Build Your Church
Galatians 6:9 tells us: “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” This campaign is an opportunity for us to plant seeds of faith, generosity, and commitment, trusting that God will bring an abundant harvest in His perfect timing. For the past 142 years, our church has been blessed by the faithfulness of God, and now it is time for us to give generously out of the abundant blessings we have received.
“We want to go on / We want to do better work. We want to make as much progress in the future as we have in the past. We may not have much longer to work and we must not waste our time and neglect to use our opportunity. We want to be found faithful when the Master comes.”
