Mike was born in Booneville, Mississippi. He graduated from Thrasher High School in Booneville in 1976, Blue Mountain College in North Mississippi in 1988, and from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas with a Master of Arts in Religious Education in 1991. Mike has served in churches in Mississippi, Texas, and Florida in the education ministry. He has a great passion for mission and has been doing international mission work since 1989. He joined the staff at FBC Kissimmee in October 2006. Mike and his wife, Toni, have 3 children, Josh, Jud, and Jonathan.
