First Baptist has always been
concerned with reaching the community for Christ. This church has a history of taking big steps for God. It was a big
step many years ago to move from downtown Kissimmee to the present location. It was a big step of faith to build a 1200
seat sanctuary when at the time worship attendance was around 500 weekly. It was a big step
11 years ago to build a new
two story education facility and to remodel the sanctuary.
I believe our next facility should be a Family Life Center to help us reach and minister to the thousands of children
and students in Central Florida. The facility will include a gym and space for children, students and college age
ministries. Our theme for this vision project is BUILDING FUTURE GENERATIONS, "...future generations will be told about
the Lord." Psalm 22:30.
This is your opportunity:
- to do something significant that will outlast your life
- to make a permanent difference with the money God has entrusted to you
- to leave a legacy for our children and future generations
When we invest in God's work, we are investing for eternity.
